DEATHRUN
The Game itself is very simple and self explanatory. Be selected as a survivor or committed as a Reaper.
If you are a survivor, the goal is simple. Run from one end of the map to the other side without being "throw/pushed/zapped/sliced/smushed" or what have you. Death can be tricky, so try to be aware and avoid the reapers malice intent!
If you are a Reaper, it's time to get tricky.
The survivors have to make it all the way to the end of the map, your job is to cause death in any manner possible. Pushing buttons and faking out those who live to bring them to a fortunate end.
Deathrun is a G-Mod game mode. You can search for "Deathrun" in the server browser section
PROPHUNT
The Game is simple to understand. There are two teams, the hunters and the Props. The game functions like a giant game of hide and seek, with the props looking to avoid detection for the duration of the round.
The Props: They have 30 seconds to find at items that they can turn into, and be able to blend into the environment to avoid detection. Whether it be a table, a chair, a book, anything that will allow them to assimilate with the environment as if it was always there. If the props do this well enough, the enemy team can use up all of their chances at guessing before they are found out.
The Hunters: They have to look around the map for props that seem out of place and guess which it is. Whether it be an object that seems weird, or moves, or just doesnt seem proper...the hunters have to decide and smash that item. But be careful, each shot or hit will cost the hunter 5 health if they are incorrect. A correct hit will yield no health loss, indicating that the item is a prop!
HIDE AND SEEK!
Another Game Type from Garry's Mod Emerges, Hide and Seek! It plays similar to Prop Hunt (Including getting yourself stuck) in the fact that you have a little bit of time at the beginning of the round to make your get away from the spawn. After that, you are forced to wander around the map in an effort to find a stealthy, but convincing hiding spot. After that, its up to you what to do. Stay there the entire round? Move Around? Taunt your seeker? Just becareful though, if your friends are caught, they too become seekers and can easily head to your position.
To capture a hiding player you simply have to stand next to them, at that point a clown noise will go off and you will have painfully castrated them and made them a seeker as well. The last surviving hider has a blue line drawn to him to make it a little easier to find.
This is one of those games that would be better to play with the public because you can't really cheat that often (with prop hunt you can become a small item and not play fair, this, you are stuck in human form)
It's tense, its silly, its a lot of fun. Hide and Seek...in Garry's Mod!
