The Pub on the Other Side of the Forest (Chapters 1-6)
25This story has been a year in the making; I started writing in May 2021 and finished the first draft by mid-July of 2021. The final version now on sale was finished only this month.
A few predictions were made in the tale which have, fortunately, not come to pass but I have not removed them because I want the novella to remain an authentic and, albeit, raw expression of my honest thoughts and feelings on the circumstances which acted as the chief fount of inspiration for the story.
Unlike the other books I’ve published thus far, this story can hardly be called “thoughtful” in its explorations of the covered themes and subjects. The rest of my fiction have been carefully considered and organised symphonies, this story is the opposite; it is rolling thunder.
In a word, this novella is catharsis.
