191The Punisher is a third-person action game based on the ultimate fictional vigilante, Frank Castle aka The Punisher. The game was developed by Volition studios and released in 2005 for the PS2, Xbox, and Microsoft Windows.
This review is essentially a love-letter to the game and its developer that has since fallen thanks to incredibly foolish business transactions NOT put into writing. This poor move also caused the closure of studios like Free Radical, and we may never see another Deus Ex, either. Good job, Swedes. Guess oil is thicker than blood.
Anyway, the Punisher game is a brutal, faithful action game that takes the player around New York City and lets you humble gangsters like the Iron Sheik.
