The Purple Shadows travels through space and time. It goes to planets with no life. Sometimes it goes to planets with some life perhaps.
Parts of the land is "consumed" or taken. It can take huge chunks of land.
Inside of the Purple Shadows, the atoms of the taken matter are rearranged to form any matter it wants.
Then, it uses the newfound material for building. Many structures have been built throughout its history. Houses, churches, and of course, large undefined mazes with some kind of presence that feels cozy and threatening at the same time.

I drew 7 of these images all in a week. Amazing. I feel accomplished.
