First off, let's be real—Quinfall has had its fair share of ups and downs. If you've been following my journey with this game, you already know that despite all the rough edges, I've found a lot to love. From crafting and gathering to a world that’s almost too big for its own good, the game has a ton of potential. But potential alone isn’t enough, and the past few weeks have been proof of that.
The developers, Vawraek Technology Inc., have finally stepped up to address the biggest concerns: cheaters, technical issues, and slow updates. And honestly? It’s about time.
A Real Anti-Cheat System—At Last
One of the biggest frustrations has been the rampant cheating. Speed hacks, item duping, and other exploits have plagued the game, and the old anti-cheat system just wasn’t cutting it. Now, the devs have partnered with XIGNCODE3, a well-known anti-cheat system that promises to crack down on hackers efficiently. It’s a step in the right direction, but we’ll have to see how well it holds up in practice.
Bug Fixes & Server Stability
Remember those random lag spikes, login issues, and weird UI bugs? The devs are finally tackling them. Here’s a quick rundown of the fixes:
Server optimizations to reduce lag and ping spikes.
Fixed login screen freezes (if you still have issues, report your character name!).
Arena sync problems and UI glitches have been resolved.
Ships' defensive weapons won’t randomly attack non-clan players anymore (thank God).
It's great to see progress, but let’s be honest—this should have happened way sooner.
No Full Wipe (For Now)
A lot of players were worried about a full wipe at the end of Early Access, but for now, it looks like that won’t happen unless something catastrophic occurs. Instead, the devs are considering Progression Servers, which could help new players integrate without resetting everyone’s hard-earned progress. Honestly, this sounds like a solid compromise.
Gameplay Improvements & Quality of Life Changes
Beyond fixes, there are some notable gameplay tweaks:
Ranking System Activated – You’ll soon be able to check level, PVE, and PVP rankings.
One-Way Auto-Run & Ship Sailing – Press Q and let your character travel without holding down keys.
Green Horses Can Now Be Bred – Finally, more variety in mounts.
Mail Auto-Delete Extended to 30 Days – No more losing important messages too soon.
Compensation & 90% Steam Discount
To make up for all the recent chaos, every player is getting 1,500 V Coins, a 10-day EXP event, and exclusive cosmetic weapons. On top of that, they’ve slashed the game's price by 90% on Steam—so if you’ve been on the fence about jumping in, now’s the time.
