The Almighty Randomizer Staff is here! And a lot of QOL changes!
v0.8.2 Update Notes:
New:
- The Randomizer Staff is now with you. Equip it to display the Randomizer menu, instead of having to load a save file! Don't you dare throw it away.
- A new quest "Randomizer - Monsters" has been added which displays the enemy groups that can currently spawn everywhere. When an enemy group is being enabled or disabled, the quest will be updated. Try to pair it with Zonai text announcements being disabled!
- A new quest "Randomizer - Prohibitions" has been added which displays the prohibitions that currently apply. When a prohibition is being enabled or disabled, the quest will be updated. Try to pair it with Zonai text announcements being disabled!
Additions:
- Added 3 Options (Enable/disable Randomizer quest updates, Zonai text announcements and loading screen area randomization).
- Added 1 Key Item (Towing Harness).
- Added 150 Goals (150 Take Photos).
Changes:
- The Energy Cell is now randomized together with the Purah Pad, Ultrahand, Fuse, Ascend and Recall with each other.
- Removed the "LargeDungeon" folder from romfs/Banc since it only contains map data for Beta Temples.
- Removed the glyphs from the Zonai text announcements for more visual overview on the screen.
- Taking a Korok to his friend now rewards you with 2 randomized items instead of 1.
- Slightly increased the chance to obtain Vows outside of beating Temples.
- Slightly decreased the chance to obtain Armor Pieces.
- Slightly decreased the chance to obtain Armor Pieces you have a goal for.
- Slightly decreased the chance to obtain a Key Item out of nowhere from the Randomizer Cycle.
- Slightly decreased the chance to obtain the Paraglider, the Camera and the Zora Armor earlier than other Key Items.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed a bug where Low Gravity wasn't working in the Thunder Temple due to different loading zones.
Optimizations:
- Decent FPS improvements due to minimal draw distance amendments.
- General code optimization.
