Every time I do a PvP IV Deep Dive I get comments about how the Rank 1 is better. Some players go as far to suggest that I’m misleading people by recommending anything but the Rank 1. So I figured I’d set the record straight and spell out exactly what the Rank 1 is and what the Rank 1 isn’t in Pokemon GO. Overall, I don’t actually think the Rank 1 is bad, but I have serious doubts that the Rank 1 is “best.” My goal with this video is to help expand the player base’s knowledge on how PvP IVs work, why the Rank 1 is valued, and why the Rank 1 isn’t all that.
