The real reason Justin Bieber refused Usher's invitation to play at the Super Bowl.
Rumors circulated that Usher's long-time friend Justin Bieber will join him for his Super Bowl performance. Fans were upset, though, when Justin failed to appear throughout the performance.
According to insiders, Usher made many attempts to persuade the Beauty and the Beat hitmaker, but he simply "wasn't feeling it." The Yeah crooner apparently attempted to arrange a performance to remember their long friendship.
"There is no ill blood between Usher and Justin. "Justin just wasn't up for it—he just wasn't feeling it," the insider told Page Six.
Justin, 29, attended the Super Bowl with his wife Hailey, 27. On Sunday, the pair watched the game from Michael Rubin's $2.5 million suite at Allegiant Stadium.
Scooter Braun found the Baby crooner, and Usher played a significant role in his rise to prominence. In 2010, the two collaborated on "Somebody to Love."
During Usher's performance, guest performers Lil Jon, Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, Will.i.am Alicia Keys, and H.E.R. rocked the stage.
