The REAL Reason Why Henry Cavill's LEAVING The Witcher..

Welcome back to Gaming Spotlight. Ever since Henry Cavill was first cast as Geralt of Rivia, he's talked time and time again of his love for all things Witcher. "I really enjoy playing these kinds of games and reading these kinds of books in my spare time," he said as far back as 2019 (via Hobby Consolas). "I don’t consider it a job," Cavill continued. "For me it is more like an extraordinary opportunity to live my childhood and adult life fantasies."

At the end of The Witcher season 2, half the Continent was going after Ciri (Freya Allan) for different (and mostly selfish) reasons, making way for a variety of storylines for season 3 – however, most of these are quite controversial, and they all involve the young Princess of Cintra. The universe of The Witcher, created by Andrzej Sapkowski, became widely popular after its adaptation into video games, and in 2019, it got its first English language adaptation thanks to Netflix. The Witcher became one of the streaming giant’s most popular titles, even though it has made major changes to the source material.
