The Return of the King Book to Movie Comparison
1This one was rather complicated, ad part of The Two Towers, where also in the movie Return of the King. Usually when it comes to a 3 act Structure, I'm a big fan of the 3rd act. The way I see it, the first act is boring. You have to establish all the characters, get them together, then put them all on the same adventure. The Second is a bit more fun, as they can jump right into the action, and even introduce new characters along the way. This act also end with the main characters, being put in an impossible situation to get out of. Then in the third, they beat the odds to be able to do it. I just love an epic conclusion. In this case, I like The Two Towers more. The Return of the King Drag in a few spots, while the former, kept me gripped for a lot of it. I hope you will join me, where I compare Peter Pan.
