The Rise of the R Rated "Kids" Film | Shotana Studios Honest Thoughts
Spoiler Free!
With Sausage Party leaving theaters and making a good chunk of change in theaters. The first R Rated CGI film to hit the silver screen has proven itself to be a success.
Well what does this mean for the future of these types of films?
We decide to sit down and hash it out. Well more like Rant it out, but you get my drift.
With the success of Sausage Party, Deadpool (an R Rated Comic book movie) and past animated films that sported the R rating, is it safe to expect more of these?
Will passion projects such as the film adaption of the Comic series The Goon become a reality? Or how about more offbeat ventures, like the R Rated Detective Crime Thriller; The Happytime Murders that is being produced by the Jim Henson company. A noir with muppets?
