The Rogue Adventuring Party- Arcane Trickster, Assassin, and Thief All Walk into a Bar GM 911
Is this the Dungeon Master problem or the players problem? While we discuss some ways to encounters, adventures, npcs, and other aspects of the campaign world interesting for multiple rogues in the same group some if it is going to be on the players. Even though they all have the same character class from the players handbook they should be role-playing them differently. hopefully they have a different race and background to further set their characters a part. The background, sub-race, and archetypes are all components of the dnd 5E system that lock together to create more variety in character creation.
Original GM 911 Post
I'm running a game in 5e and I have a full six players; however, there are three rogues in the party a Thief, Assassin, and an Arcane Trickster. What are suggestions for how to make each class feel different?
