The RTX 3090 Ti Needs 1000 WATTS
Nvidia’s RTX 3090 Ti will be launching soon and it is going to be drawing a lot of power. According to the latest leaks the RTX 3090 Ti will draw 450W and will come with a new PCIe 5.0 power connector that can supply up to 600W of sustained power. This new connector will be the new standard going forward for cards like the RTX 3090 Ti, 4090, 4080, 4070, and all other GPUs releasing in 2022. Additionally Intel’s Alder Lake i9-12900K just had a new benchmark leak showing in winning by 20% over a 5950X in CPU-Z.
