Did you really think I was done with The Scheme? Fat chance! I just had to do this banger as well. ^w^\nAs I mentioned before, this PC-88 action RPG from Onion Soft and Bothtec has the luxury of two separate soundtracks courtesy of Yuzo Koshiro, one using the YM2203/OPN, and the other using the YM2608/OPNA, the YM2203's successor. The YM2608 has more sound channels and features, which allowed Yuzo to create more dynamic music than he had previously done at Nihon Falcom, resulting in a superior soundtrack (the YM2203 soundtrack is still great, as to be expected from Yuzo). Possibly the best track from the YM2608 OST is the first song you hear in your adventure, I'll Save You All My Justice. I knew I had to do this song justice (hehe) with a cover on the Super Famicom using tildearrow's Furnace tracker, considering that Yuzo did some phenomenal work on the Super Famicom shortly after he worked on The Scheme. Since Yuzo worked on Quintet/Enix's ActRaiser about a year after The Scheme's release, I thought it would be cool to see what it'd be like if The Scheme had been made for the Super Famicom instead of the PC-88. So, I set out to mainly utilize instruments from ActRaiser when making this cover. Since Yuzo was clearly inspired by Konami's Castlevania when he composed I'll Save You All My Justice (just as he had been inspired by Akumajou Densetsu when he composed the ActRaiser song Fillmore), I felt it would be appropriate if I also utilized some instruments from Akumajou Dracula/Super Castlevania and Akumajou Dracula XX/Castlevania: Dracula X, so I did just that. Keeping with the Konami vibe, I utilized the orchestral hit sample they used, which I sourced from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. Yuzo had also done the music for Hudson Soft's Super Adventure Island, so I utilized its clap snare sample. The rest of the samples I used had to be sourced from other unrelated games, but they fit will enough for me to not worry (to be precise, I used some Tim Follin electric guitar samples from Rock 'n' Roll Racing, a percussion sample from Donkey Kong Country, and a familiar sample from Mother 2/Earthbound... ;D). That's quite the mix of instruments! I had planned out most of the instruments weeks prior, so making this project went incredibly smoothly. And I must say that I'm real proud of what I've accomplished, especially considering that I don't fully understand the ins and outs of making Super Nintendo music. I hope you guys enjoy this, and be on the lookout for The Scheme 21st Century Revival when it releases this month! :D \n\nHere are the downloads for this song: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YCiRdtcpK6nFHeVnCORlzmgeS8Dx60E5?usp=sharing \n\nComposed by: Yuzo Koshiro (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCe_lUL6kLzZLS49SIdHly5A) \nSuper Famicom Arrangement by: Andrew Ambrose \n\n\n\nPatreon Shout-outs: \nAustin Kaiser \nHolly \nAndyana \nEric M Ambrose \nBantBeOdd \n\nBe sure to share this cover if you enjoyed it, and consider supporting me on Patreon (100% optional): https://www.patreon.com/AndrewAmbrose
