The Scouring - [Indie RTS thats like putting Warcraft 2 & 3, and Starcraft into a blender]
10Something I came across while looking for RTS games, games like D.O.R.F and Shrot are a few others, this game is caught my attention though, love warcraft 3 (theres a ton of videos of it on this channel lol), with the custom mapping being the best part of it, but of course reforged fucked it all up, and just a few things like the unit selection limit and sluggish movement has been really getting to me. This is getting modding support which is a big 👀 for me lol, so here's hoping this takes off and has powerful modding potential.
The game itself? Loooots of potential, as the title says, its got a lot of stuff from Warcraft and Starcraft games mixed up, with some neat twists on ideas, all with much better movement and no selection limit, it's fun to play, and it's only in its most basic state. There's of course some things to fix, such as the music volume balance completely out the window and a bug with the unit groups not wanting to form (you can see me struggle a lot in the video) for whatever reason, but again, lots of potential.
