5It is not actually random to know who the killer is at the end of the game, To prevent Violet and Zak from being killers, In Chapter 1 when asking everyone questions on the Dialogue, Do NOT ask Violet "Where were you last night" as it will reveal and give away that she is the killer in the ending, Make sure talk to Lexie first and then shapeshift into her when going to talk to Rayne it's very important that "How are you" dialogue does NOT appear on screen otherwise exit and start a new game until it doesn't show up on screen. On Chapter 4 when talking to Browyn, Make sure she mentions Birmingham when asking about the gold coin so it will fully confirm that Rayne will be the Killer at the ending and to achieve The Big Sleep Gold Trophy, You must Shapeshift into Rayne to get him to kill you and die at the very end of The Shapeshifting Detective.
