I love using shotguns in videogames. They can be some of the most satisfying firearms to use. I don't feel like the trench gun in HLL quite has it right yet. The sound is not as meaty as I would like, the damage feels pathetic at any range outside of about 20m, and I don't even think I can slam-fire the thing (although I didn't check this very closely, so maybe I just did the controls wrong).

I'm going to keep using the shotgun to see what I can do once I've learned how it works better, but for now, I'm not too thrilled with it.
