Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is a DS game from 2005, that in an awesome RPG style sees Mario and Luigi team up with younger versions of themselves in a Time-bending adventure that is still one of my favourite Mario adventures of all time.

At some point in their strange takeover of the mushroom kingdom, apparently the shroobs laid claim to the Gritzy Desert Colosseum. They also apparently recruited Petey Piranha just so that they could feed our dearest princess peach to him. I mean, damn shroobs.
