The Sights of the 2013 iRacing.com Daytona 2.4
0Over 1000 racers registered for 1 race, grid set by qualifying times. I was in Split 2 Friday, I'm in the #23 Riley DP - I ended up 8th after starting 10th. How competitive are the iRacing World Tour Events? 6 Tenths of a second covered the entire DP field on the grid, from first to last. In the McLaren class, 3 tenths. Because of the equality of competition, any gap must be seized. Any mistake will be heavily punished, even though the race is nearly 3 hours long. Once the race was over, I still felt like I could use another 3 hours. This has to be one of the best sim racing events out there.
Little late in the making, but I wanted to be happy with this one. I think it's my best so far. Decided to focus more on the angles rather than editing.

The guy in the #31 McLaren... Sir, your race was epic. Some would call that "blocking" (lol), but we all know that was top notch driving to make it through the infield side by side and not lose a position.
