HELLO!!!
Deeply sorry for my month long hiatus, here's the story:
So the day after I uploaded part 2 of my tagteam house, my computer started performing mad slow, I couldn't do everyday tasks without heaps of lag, don't even get me started on trying to run The Sims 3. =\
Anyway, a few days later my computer decided to tell me that my main HDD was dying and that I should backup everything onto something else... 5 minutes after said warning, it turned itself off and wouldn't boot up again!
I sent it to the computer doctor and the diagnosis was my HDD was in fact on the edge of death, and that trying to turn on the computer to backup up my data could possibly kill it for good!!!
I was pretty bummed about that but I've now got a new HDD... meaning that everything that was on my old HDD is essentially lost forever...
EVERYTHING...
FOREVER!!!
I've lost everything!!!
Sets, neighbourhoods, sims... T-T
Including the progress that I made with my tagteam house, luckily, all my lots are on The Exchange and I've got the link for the sets so now I have the arduous task of remaking my tagteam house and recover my sets back...
But I wont do that for a while because, judging from the title of this video I passed the 7000th subscriber mark in my absence, so what better what to celebrate than by renovating my first ever Sims 3 house?! =]
Yes, I'm revisiting the house that pretty much brought me to where I am today... and giving it a little touch up.
In memory of my lost progress I thought I'd reuse the ideas that I was using for for my tagteam house and incorporate them into this renovation.
Keep in mind that I'm currently setless, which should be a good thing for the majority of you guys that don't have any either... so building with the bare essentials will be a challenge for me since I'm so used to having a ton more objects to use. =[
Anyway, that's my story, once I finish this renovation I'll get my sets back and rebuild my tagteam and finish it off then I'll be back in proper business!!!
=]
Until next time...
You know the drill:
Stay tuned!
Get excited!!
and Enjoy!!!
