Reed, un investigador Privado de la ciudad de Boston, Veterano de Guerra que sufre de Stress post traumático y alucinaciones ,que lo conducen a Oakmont, Massachusetts, una ciudad sumergida en una inundación Sobrenatural donde aparentemente se encuentran todas las respuestas de porque se tiene estas alucinaciones
