The Sinking City - PART 13 (What Lurks in the Depths)
0Detective Reed wraps up the last two side cases available before literally diving back into the main case. First, there's trouble in the graveyard! The groundskeeper asks us to find three bodies that were taken not by the flood, but by opportunistic grave robbers. Next, Reed tracks down the remaining pieces of eldritch trinkets all over town.. mostly in those pesky infested areas. But hey, finding a ring that is constantly moist has to be worth getting chewed on by the local wylebeasts, right? With those out of the way, we descend once again into the murky depths to rescue the missing Professor Dough. Naturally, the pressure's not the only thing bearing down on our would-be rescuer, as the residents violently attempt to stop us. But one thought comes to mind: what if Dough doesn't want to be rescued? Could the increasingly unnatural underwater caves have shredded what remains of her sanity, and are we any different?
