The Sinking City is an adventure and investigation game set in an open world inspired by the universe of H.P. Lovecraft. The game will be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on June 27 (25 for owners of the Necronomicon Edition), 2019.

Lovecraftian literature has had a profound impact on gaming, dating as far back as the early 90s. Now, Frogwares of Sherlock Holmes fame has brought us The Sinking City, an open-world detective game inspired by the works of none other than H.P. Lovecraft himself. 30+ hours of playing and one and a half playthroughs later, here’s me telling you what’s good about the Sinking City and what isn’t.
