Melee Speed stat is often neglected by players in Terraria. I mean, what even is a Melee Speed anyway? Well, it affects your sword swings. But there's actually more to it, increasing the projectile speed and range as well. That's all great, and there are many ways to increase the melee speed. Sadly, there aren't many ways to reduce the melee speed ─ You could say there's literally no way of doing so. Some debuffs reduce the stat, but not by much. So I just injected too many debuffs to my character.
