When Vince McMahon purchased WCW in 2001, fans began dreaming about the upcoming dream matches that could be put on TV. With Vince McMahon controlling both the WWF and the WCW brand, many fans expected to see matches like Sting vs Undertaker, Goldberg vs Steve Austin, The Rock vs Diamond Dallas Page and so on. Fans quickly realised though that the planned WCW Invasion storyline would not work out as expected, and this came down to contractual agreements. With WCW's biggest superstars still getting paid through AOL Time Warner, many guys like Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash decided to stay at home and collect a free paycheck.

Vince and the WWF still had the WCW brand in their possesion though, and the McMahon wanted to begin airing a WCW television show along with WCW exclusive pay per views. Viacom, the owner of TNN, didn't like the idea of a WCW show without the biggest stars of the company, and so the deal fell through. Vince was left with a lot of mid-tier WCW talent, and so an Invasion storyline was booked where WCW (and eventually ECW) would try to take over the WWF.

This video continues on from the last Invasion upload, picking up after the WWF Invasion 2001 pay per view and ending with the 2001 Survivor Series and the episode of Monday Night Raw that followed. Topics covered in this video include:
