Chapter 1 of the mystery detective puzzle adventure game 'The strange story of Brian Fisher'. You start the game locked up in a cage in the basement of a house, you must find your way out of the cage and ultimately out of the house by solving a series of object puzzles along with conventional puzzles, while being hackled by your captor. The story develops as you find out your incarceration has something to do with the disappearance of your father 20 years ago.

Please note that the position of objects and the codes resulting from some clues and puzzles can change between playthroughs so your codes may be different to mine.

The code is determined by reading the old newspaper and looking up the co-ordinates of the numbers in the sudoku puzzle grid. The game demonstrates the principle on the first number.

Use the chess piece co-ordinates in the picture on the fuse box door to determine the letter and number combinations to use, white pieces at the bottom of the fuse box, black at the top. Join the white-takes-black co-ordinates for each white piece using the wires in the fuse box as a guide.

Use the clue from the tv screen to determine what pictures to use in each row. The first door code digit is on the inside of the hieroglyph box.

Use the computer manual to determine the keywords to type into the computer in order to decrypt the crypto code found on the back of the computer notes page. The deciphered note is the second door code digit.

Click on the 'projector tapes' to cycle through pictures, at one point the projector makes a noise between two frames, and displays the third door code digit on the wall, you have to be quick to turn to face the wall while this is happening to see the number. If you miss it, the pictures are on a loop so you can go back through them.
