The Summoning - Swedish Wargoat
7I'm currently exploring chip music inspired by the electro genre known as phonk, and am working my ways toward a release. As this music track that I've titled "The Summoning" is a phonky one, you can expect it to be quite noisy and slightly evil sounding. :)
For the video I've tried out Kling to animate a picture for me, since my own skills at animating are quite low. With those video clips generated I've then just edited them in my video editing software and applied some filters to make it look a bit old school cool, so to speak.
I am Swedish Wargoat and I mostly make chiptune music so I more often than not frequently use 8-bit sounds from the old school video gaming consoles and computers, but am expanding the sound a bit, as you can hear from this chip ponk track.
I use FL Studio to make my music, and Plogue Chipsounds as my VST, except for the drums.
I can't say I aim to make the best phonk songs, just the most unique ones and as far as I know there's not a big chip phonk scene, if any. If you know of any music artists doing that kind of music please let me know. :)
And, keep an eye out for more phonk songs in the future.
