13What's up guys and welcome back to The Surge!! Created by Deck13, the guys behind Lords of the Fallen, The Surge is a Sci-Fi action role playing game that takes a page out of the Dark Souls series. Being a Souls style game you can expect challenging combat, epic weapons and that satisfying victory you get from a truly tough boss!! The game takes place in a dystopian future where mankind has exhausted the world's resources, leading to strained social service and environmental diseases. According to the developers, the game paints a grim portrait of the future where the evolution of technology in relation to society and the environment has led to a decadent era for humanity.
The Surge gives me Vanquish vibes mixed with the story of Avatar and from the trailer we are in for a hell of a time. I've been hungry for a Dark Souls like game to sink my teeth into so let's go!!!

The Surge is an science fiction action role-playing game video game in development by Deck13 Interactive, and published by Focus Home Interactive. Deck13 Interactive described the game as "Rise of the Robots and Souls-style, super-challenging third-person melee combat, but through the lens of a sci-fi setting". The game is scheduled for release in May 2017, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
