The Tale Of Penge The Absurd | The Succession of Changing Kings (Kingdom Management Game)
The Succession of Changing Kings is a game that puts us in charge of a Kingdom on the very brink of collapse. Four factions are competing for influence so we, as a King-in-Waiting, must manage these factions until our official coronation.
We play in turns, with each turn lasting around 4-ish days, and on each turn we have to deal with various situations around the Kingdom. Some we can select from a very pretty map of the Kingdom whereas others happen at the end of the day.
Our actions in dealing with these situations impact our standings with the different factions, plus they can also influence our funds, national health and national defence!
Which means we have to tread very carefully to make sure that all the factions are handled well, because if not then they'll soon let us know... in quite painful ways...

"The Succession of Changing Kings" puts you at the helm of a kingdom on the verge of disaster.
The lands that were once rich have now decayed into emptiness. The fields, once fertile with crops, are now covered in weeds. Trade routes have fallen silent, and the best people are leaving their homeland.
Construct buildings, hire subjects, decide the fate of your liegemen and take critical decisions that could influence the destiny of the whole domain.
Develop relations with the four key groups: nobility, army, church, and commoners. Remember, bad relations can bring all kinds of problems—including death.
The game is broken down into four acts, 25 turns per act, for a total of 100 turns to win the game. Each act tells a self-contained story that leads to your coronation. In every act, there are over 200 quests and events, some only available on replay.
There are more than 80 ways for the king to die.
