Even when a plan is good it doesn't always work as intended. Sometimes you have a plan like jumping on a branch to create a chokepoint but it fails and someone has a gravity moment instead. Or you have a plan to parry someone that has repeatedly R1'd after every running/block attack but fail it and end up with a perfect backstab opportunity instead.
