Making a video game only sequel to a cult classic remake of an adaptation of a 1930s sci-fi novella all about a body snatching alien? sounds class!. For the next chapter of Jankuary, we are digging into Computer Artworks weirdly ahead of its time, survival horror The Thing! based on my second favourite horror film ever. Cannot wait to see how badly it gets butchered.
In this volume, we follow Captain Blake and his team who have been sent to Outpost 31, to find out what happened to the abandoned station. Finding evidence of a strange spacecraft, the group travel to a neighboring Norwegian post. Which is when they are met by nightmarish lovecraftian aliens who infect the members of Blakes crew. Blake makes his way through the center, trying to find an escape route and chasing down an unknown man running in the distance.
