Finally, this year's traditional Halloween marathon review just about comes to a close. I'm think about doing just one more, but for The Thing, that'll be about it. As for this The Thing, it feels like a bunch of fans trying to remake John Carpenter's movie without a good understanding of what made it strong in the first place. It's not an outright bad film, but it's hardly worth watching either, even for curiosity sake.
