The Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Dual Challenge is a "two games, one controller" sort of challenge run where I'll be playing through both the Gamecube original and Switch remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door AT THE SAME TIME! Compared to more distinct TGOC challenges, this should be relatively easy. However, as it stands, this challenge itself is also difficult because of numerous small differences (load times, menuing, and even movement physics) between the two versions that slowly add up over time. That said, I hope you'll enjoy this series!
Oh, and just to be clear as an additional rule, if I Game Over in one game, the other gets reset back to the last Save Point also. And, I do have to try to engage in a boss fight or event battle at the same time on both games.
Small Disclaimer: There may be some visual issues with the Switch side of this run. They should largely just remain visual, though, so please pay them no mind.
