The three types of tears #shorts
There are three types of tears that are produced by the human eye: basal tears, reflex tears, and emotional tears. Each type of tear has a different composition and serves a different purpose.
Basal Tears: Basal tears are the tears that are constantly produced by the eye to keep it moist and lubricated. They contain a mixture of water, mucus, proteins, and electrolytes such as sodium, potassium, and calcium.
Reflex Tears: Reflex tears are produced in response to an irritant, such as smoke, dust, or onions. They contain a higher concentration of antibodies, enzymes, and white blood cells than basal tears, which helps to fight off any potential infection or irritation.
Emotional Tears: Emotional tears are produced in response to strong emotions, such as joy, sadness, or stress. They contain higher levels of stress hormones, such as cortisol, and natural painkillers, such as endorphins, as well as more protein-based hormones than the other types of tears.
