Pokemon Go is a fun app/game that has experienced explosive popularity in recent days - I've had fun but there are some aspects of it that need work. Sorry if this sounded a bit ranty, it wasn't supposed to be!
In Pokemon Go, players use their phones' GPS to track down and capture nearby generated Pokemon using Pokeballs, which are limited in quantity as must be obtained from real world community locations known as Pokéstops. Hatching eggs by walking and catching new species of Pokemon enable players to level up at greater speed by giving experience, which can unlock more items and abilities.
Caught Pokemon have a 'combat power' rating which affects their strength in gym battles. Using their own teams, players can take control of local gyms of rival teams (Team Mystic, Valor and Instinct), which nets them free daily coins for buying more items and Stardust for strengthening Pokemon further.
I was still extremely new to this game when I made this video but these were the things that stood out to me.
