The party discovers that the Mayor, in his distress, was about to go and visit the Hag for answers on why he was attacked and betrayed by the Archbishop and the Brotherhood. However, after much convincing, he chooses instead to stand aside and continue to lay low, allowing others to find out information for him from the shadows.

Now knowing the Archbishop and Brotherhood might be up to no good, the party decides to travel north while Mi'itrik and Dart travel west, both sides intent on gathering more information on what's happening on the Island while the Mayor stays behind.

Choosing to pass the Hag for now in the hopes of getting more information on her, the party makes their way to the village of Whitebridge, where things were very unlike what they have seen so far. The sun was shining, everyone was walking with a bounce in their step, very cheerful and smiling, and no one seemed negatively affected by the cold very much. The townsfolk and the town Matriarch, Agatha, all attribute it to the powers of their local hot spring!

However, it was quickly realized that nothing was as it seemed. Kayli's lantern of the Undead was beaming bright and Skylert's divine sense was so overwhelming that it made him sick. It appeared as though the Undead was massively at play.

After a rousing performance by Evelyn and Bell to gather the Townsfolk to the village square, the curtain was lifted and the illusion was dropped, revealing all, except Agatha, to be members of the undead. As the party fought through the attacking creatures, Agatha attempted to flee, but was soon apprehended.

With the undead finally put to rest, Agatha faints and the party take her to the nearby Tavern, now empty and decrepit. However, Anoran isolates himself due to his desire to punish Agatha for her dealings with the Undead, despite the rest of the party insisting he does not.

There's still some questions left unanswered. Why was Agatha so visually disturbed when Dragon's Howl was mentioned? Why does the Hot Spring still smell like death? And what lies beyond the bridge leading to Agatha's house and the supposed Mythril Mine behind?
