The Trade School Campus - "BuzzTown" #054
Creating the second Campus in BuzzTown and we are suprised by a big thunderstorm. Also the reasons why my Commercial Area's are dying out is now fully clear to me. Because of the presence of all these DLC Industries and also the fishing Industry the demand for "Industry" is/was low to none. But it's actually this regular Industry that supplies MOST of the stuff your commercial zone is needing. And when the regular Industry dissappears then also the commercial zones get empty, and you get the message "Not enough goods to sell", and at the same time in the DLC Industries they should "Not enough buyers for products". Thus, it's clear now that it's very important that besides DLC Industries and Unique Factories that you keep a balance between your residentials, their needs, and don't build too much DLC Industries and also keep a lot of regular Industries present. Of screen after this episode I am already adding more regular industries so the commercial area's can revive again. But most of the time during this episode I am building the second campus because at the time of recording I thought there was a lack of educated people. (Okay there were, according to the symbol) but this was not the main reason for all the complaining most buildings did and the disappearing of the commercial area.
General info:
