I noticed a lot of media attention on Rashida Jones' new Netflix Original Series Documentary Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On, and I thought I should take the opportunity about the truth about porn related to Hot Girls wanted, at least from my perspective as a former porn star. I do not hate porn, I don't have an anti-porn agenda, and I make it clear in the video that exploitation is not black and white. My biggest gripe about the industry are too young of girls allowed to start doing it at too young an age, and they are not mentally prepared and usually do not yet have a strong enough sense of self to handle what the industry throws at them, and are therefore particularly vulnerable to the "grey area" type of exploitation which can definitively happen in porn. Hot Girls Wanted is an accurate portrayal of the amateur porn industry, however not so accurate of the bigger, more mainstream industry based in LA. There are plenty of very happy people in porn who have great experiences, and I certainly had many myself. But that doesn't negate the issues in porn that are presented in the Hot Girls Wanted Netflix documentary that very few are willing to objectively discuss. Hope you guys enjoy.
