Today we’re tackling the 5 most challenging Total War games in the series and what I mean by that is unforgiving campaigns that force you to essentially restart if you’ve made a mistake early on in the first 10-20-30 turns and campaigns that have specific factions that are far more brutal than others because of AI aggression, game mechanics and other limiting factors.

From Rome Total War: Barbarian Invasion, Medieval 2 Kingdoms: Americas to Shogun 2 and Attila, there are some insanely difficult Total War games and campaigns and today I do my best to rank them all in the order that I think fits best.
