There are three types of Sprinklers in Stardew Valley.
The Sprinkler , Quality Sprinkler and Iridium Sprinkler
Each Sprinkler functions the same way except for the range they cover.
Cost:
Regular Sprinkler
The regular Sprinkler is unlocked at level 2 farming and can be crafted using 1 Copper Bar and One Iron Bar. Bars can be smelted at the furnace using 5 pieces of each's respective ore.
Copper Ore can be found in the low levels of the mine or purchased at the blacksmith’s for 75 g in year 1. Each bar will take 30 in game minutes to Smelt and if each ore iss purchased will cost 375g.
Iron Ore can be found around floors 40-80 of the mine or purchased at the blacksmith’s for 150g in year 1. Each bar will take 2 in game hours to Smelt and if each ore is purchased will cost 750g.
So for each Sprinkler the total cost of each Sprinkler is 1125g and 2 hours and 30 minutes in game time.
Quality Sprinkler
The Quality Sprinkler is unlocked at level 6 farming and can be crafted using 1 Iron Bar and One Gold Bar, and 1 refined Quartz. Bars can be smelted at the furnace using 5 pieces of each's respective ore.
Iron Ore can be found around floors 40-80 of the mine or purchased at the blacksmith’s for 150g in year 1. Each bar will take 2 in game hours to Smelt and if each ore is purchased will cost 750g.
Gold Ore can be found in the higher levels of the mine after floor 80 or purchased at the blacksmith’s for 400g in year 1. Each bar will take 5 hours in game to Smelt and if each ore iss purchased will cost 2000g.
Refined Quartz is smelted in the furnace by using regular quartz and takes 1 hour and 30 minutes in game time. Quartz can be found throughout the mine or by recycling glass or broken cds.
So for each Sprinkler the total cost of each Sprinkler is 2750g and 8 hours and 30 minutes in game time.
It can also randomly rotate into stock at the Traveling Cart for 1,350-2,250g
-Iridium Sprinkler
The Iridium Sprinkler is unlocked at level 9 farming and can be crafted using 1 Gold Bar and One Iridium Bar, and 1 Battery Pack. Bars can be smelted at the furnace using 5 pieces of each's respective ore.
Gold Ore can be found in the higher levels of the mine after floor 80 or purchased at the blacksmith’s for 400g in year 1. Each bar will take 5 hours in game to Smelt and if each ore iss purchased will cost 2000g.
Iridium Ore can be found in the Geodes or in the Skull cavern. Iridium Ore is also rarely sold at the Traveling Cart. Each bar will take 8 hours in game to Smelt. Since the ore is not sold at a standard price the ore cost can fluctuate.
Battery Packs can be obtained from building a Lightning Rod and having it struck during a Thunderstorm. The traveling Cart sells them for between 1,500-2,500 rarely.
So for each Sprinkler the total cost of each can average over 13 in game hours and potentially 10,000g.
On Fridays it is possible to buy Iridium Sprinklers for 10,000g from Krobus.
