The Void (2008): A hidden PC Gem (Full playthrough Part 1)
Content warning: there is nudity in this one. Not me though. MY PANTS STAY ON THE WHOLE TIME. Also body horror. Despite me leaving my pants on the whole time.
Hey conrads. It’s time to die.
Well not literally.
This is a play-through of the Void, or depending on your export market Tension, or Тургор. A post-soviet russian game from 2008. This is a weird one, but possibly it is one of the most mechanically and visually innovative First Person Shooters of its era.
Leaning heavily on environmental storytelling, you start out the game dead. Or well, sort of. Follow along as I navigate the depressing world of the void. Gathering color so that I might birth a new era! Will we come back to life? Or will we give one of the underworld hotties all the color they need to resurrect??
Also yeah, the Polish distributor was techland. Same company that did the much less innovative game Chrome: Specforce.
