🕹WELCOME TO THE GAMING NOISEMAKERS 🎮

I’m playing The Walking Dead - Onslaught on PSVR and I’m using a PS4 pro.
I got the physical release copy of this game and I’m going in with an open mind and thinking things are more arcade than RPG.
In this video I talk to Daryl and start his first story mission.
I’m fairly impressed with Onslaught so far.
I understand and recognise the negatives people have pointed out about it this game, but the game isn’t trying to be a RPG. I think where it is using similar mechanics to an RPG where you need to collect supplies to build the town and upgrade your weapons but it’s seeming quite a linear thing that’s just part of the game and not really down toons decisions.
You have no stamina issues to manage like in other zombie vr games, which is a nice change and the weapons don’t have HP and don’t break, making action very safe feeling. The Guns I’m finding are underpowered but I do think a lot of that is due to the weapons needing upgrading.
I like the characters and graphics but the look is a flat one at times but the shadows and animations being very smooth the flat graphics aren’t that much of a draw back, it’s just a very stylistic look with a limited colour pallet.
My opinion has gone up after playing some of the story and upgraded the town a bit, it’s a solid zombie slasher very much like Jader Cypher/Killing Floor but with a TWD tv show vibe and a 8/10, but I’m a TWD fan which is adding towards my excitement.
The game is a recommended one but only if you know that this isn’t in anyway an RPG, it uses slight RPG mechanics regards the town development but that’s it.
