The Watch: Ubisoft Backed Web3 Moba-RTS | First Look
5It seems Ubisoft is getting more and more involved in Web3 Gaming. This time they're backing a game of a genre I've never heard of: MOBA - RTS and its name is The Watch
This crypto game is esports oriented. The goal is to summon troops and destroy your opponents core (his base).
To do that summon troops with your existing mana, use spells and tactics to outsmart your opponent.
You can also level up your troops by killing creeps, like in a MOBA, and manage your army through control groups like in an RTS.
When it comes to The Watch as a crypto game they already have an NFT Collection trading on secondary markets like Open Sea.
Some of those NFTs are going to have utility in-game at some point.
The game is on an alpha stage and in order to get access you need an NFT.
At some point the team will open the game to everyone.
