As lots of you guys commented (See below!) on my first play of The Wave by Sorrontis, my strategy was clearly sub optimal. Therefore, I did revisit The Wave, to ride it better this time. Sometimes the optimal strategy may not be obvious from the start as the creeper behaves different than expected e.g. the speed, quantity, and strength of the creeper in this mission were slower, more and harder than I expected in the first run. Therefore, the optimal strategy was not obvious to me in the first play.

Checklist for improvements:
Reino: "This is too easy for you. Why don't you redo the Wave by Sal and half your time?" - CHECK that new time being 2,43501x faster and setting the new shortest time on record!
Snarfy McSnarfFace: "I think you also could’ve flattened the terrain to make it easier to hold ground" - CHECK
Reino: "Your initial miner placement kicked my OCD in the balls." - CHECK
Michael Van Houten: "So far this map has made the creep look WAY more intimidating than what I've seen from all of the other games!" - CHECK, not anymore!
yum234: "I am fan of Sorrontis maps!!! :)" - CHECK, played another Sorrontis map
Fire Storm: "I think he panicked that he started sending mortars deep inside the creeper wave." - CHECK, don't do such silly things
