The Week in Marvel Avengers Alliance 8/21/15-Spider Gwen Edition!
10Welcome to the Spider-Gwen edition of The Week in MAA. We're covering the release of the latest bruiser AND spider hero along with the last few days of PVP Season 23. Strap in boys! Last weekend is coming-Sean Bean
So, slightly ahead of PD's rather common Friday release day, Spider-Gwen dropped. She comes to us as a bruiser but retains an almost infiltrator level of health. She has some fun passives and her moves are music based. She hails from a universe where she was the one bit by the spider and actually spent time saving Peter Parker. She has solid synergy with other spider heroes because of webbing (duh) but also has a nice lvl 1 exhausted which is always handy for PVP. The level 6 and 9 will be her strong points. Will we see her in PVP? Not sure but I don't think so.
Chapter 9 is on us also. It brings some solid weapons and very dirty gadgets like the cosmic shielding. I did see one of the new guns in PVP today and have seen a few Nerks but I am largely unimpressed with her in PVP defense so far. I'd be more scared if people sealed her debuffs like via Pesty or the ruta scroll.
