The Weird Issue Players Are Having with Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls
Over the last couple of days now, a lot of players have been giving the feedback on the EVO build of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. For the most part everyone loves the game and are super excited for the beta in the upcoming weeks. But after watching many videos, a lot of players have one criticism in common, "Marvel Tōkon feels like a 1v1 game with assist. Not a tag fighter." So in this video, SOL breaks down the core systems of Marvel Tōkon and explains why he believe so many people share this same sentiment about the game!
Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is an upcoming fighting game developed by Arc System Works and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Featuring characters appearing in Marvel Comics publications, the game is premised on a 4v4 system that accommodates a setup with one primary fighter and three assist characters, and a more traditional active tag mechanic iterating on the traditional 2v2 and 3v3 setups that were popularized by previous Marvel fighting games.
