Inspired by the Toronto Premiere of "A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney" by Lucas Hnath, presented by Soulpepper Theatre and Outside the March....it's a production that made me say "WOW!" and also "wow..." and SO today we're unpacking the weird history and mythology surrounding the death and the legacy of Walt Disney! Nearly 60 years after Walt's death, why do the rumors of cryogenic freezing persist? What would he have achieved if he could have had more time? And would his futurist dream of the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (aka EPCOT the City of Tomorrow) have ever become a reality? Let's talk about it!
