Midnight Report is a game where you can experience the tragedy of a student who is busy with a report assignment, and is a Japanese horror game based on the concept of hallucinations caused by working all night.
A modern rural atmosphere and a storyline that incorporates the concept of Japanese horror are fused to bring out the horror even more.
This game is currently in beta version. The beta version includes his 3 chapters that are part of the main story. The rest of the chapters will be delivered in future updates.

The items that appear and the structure of some maps are random, so you can enjoy a different play every time.
Unique screen effects inspired by "hallucinations", including VHS noise effects, provide a more realistic experience.
A story development in which various events are intricately intertwined.

The destination (clear) of this game is not limited to the ending or result, it depends on your report.

In this work, we have prepared a report paper (.png) for consideration as special content that allows you to experience the atmosphere of a real report assignment (see the appendix below for details).
If you want to enjoy a more authentic atmosphere, be aware that it is the night before you submit your report, and aim to write and submit your report by the next day!
You can edit the description fields in the downloaded report image and post (submit) it on the Internet such as SNS.
Gameplay Overview
You control the main character from a first-person perspective. The main actions include "walking/running/sprinting/crouching/interactions/instructions such as opening/closing doors/obtaining items".
Story Synopsis / Synopsis
According to the protagonist, who was in a hurry, it was the night before he submitted his report assignment.
"I just moved, and most of the cardboard boxes are still unopened..."
Even if you explain the move to the teacher in charge, anyone can easily suspect that this impatience is simply a lack of planning.
But the truth is known only to him or those who truly know him.
"I should have worked on it sooner..."
He can't help but regret the night before submitting this, so he will step into the report assignment all night, but...
