The Witcher 3 - RTX 4090 Next Gen Ray Tracing Upgrade Comparison - Off/On
Ouch! I knew it would be bad, but didn't think it would be 3x worse with ray tracing enabled! The only setting changed was turning on ray tracing, DLSS is off. Consider subscribing if you liked the video!
A direct comparison showing the next gen update FPS and visual differences in split screen! The color is so much more accurate in the ray traced version, and the reflections are much more noticeable. There is shadow pop in from time to time which can be distracting. This is all basically worthless information when you look at the performance impact, it would simply not be worth it for most people. If there is interest in a DLSS 3 comparison I can make one, it gives me a 70-80fps avg with ray tracing on!
