The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt es un videojuego de rol desarrollado por CD Projekt RED. El juego es la tercera parte de la saga, precedido por The Witcher y The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, las cuales están basadas en la saga literaria de Geralt de Rivia escrita por Andrzej Sapkowski. Fue lanzado el 19 de mayo de 2015, siendo un éxito rotundo en crítica y ventas hasta la fecha llegando a más de 6 millones de ejemplares vendidos.

El juego se desarrolla justo después de lo acontencido en la segunda parte de la saga, en plena invasión de Nilfgaard a los reinos del Norte, con Ciri bajo la protección de Geralt y los brujos en la fortaleza de Kaer Morhen. Pero no sólo los nilfgaardianos serán un peligro para la pequeña leoncilla de Cintra: también lo será la siempre peligrosa y terrorífica Cacería Salvaje.
